Hi Nikon users, I'm thinking of getting a flash for my nikon D70, and hope to spend less than $400. I shoot mostly still-life, portraits and events. Should I get a Nikon SB600 or Sigma EF 500DG Super? Any advice please?
Get the SB28DX... good enough and going for 200+ only max. You're using a D70... so i'm pretty sure there are no compatibility problems as my friends use them too. Ok Mr Quek?

There would not be automatic TTL functions if you use the SB28DX, you have to set it to aperture/manual mode and adjust accordingly. Of course it still works, but you would lost the convenience afforded by the SB-600/800
