Which film to get?

Which film is better for b & w studio shoot? Ilford Pan 100 or Kodax Tmax 100? Would appreciate if someone with experience using both the films mentioned can share with me the difference.

I use TMax 100, but i've heard that Ilford gives greater contrast, even though the grain is equally fine. I personally prefer more grays for studio shoots. I think there's no difference except Ilford costs about $0.30 more per roll...

I tried Ilford Delta with very good contrast and the grain is a little bit more fine than Pan 100.

Anyone got comments on Agfa Scala? heard good stuff about it but no chance to try it.

Delta 100 is great stuff, very fine grain and contrast.
if u want some grain,u might wanna try Tri X..

I was at Ruby just now, but they told me they don't carry Pan 100...they only have Pan 50. Where did u get your Pan 100?
