Which Fibre Optics?

Hi guys, planning to hook up my DVR that has HDMI input that I will use for video purposes, to my current DVD player that I intend for sound processing to my speakers. So I will need an optical cable instead of the L/R RCA jack to connect the both right?

Any recommendations on what brand of optical cables to use?

If you mean you want an optic cable to connect from your DVR directly into speakers, don't think it's available. You'll need to connect to another processor (an amp) for the conversion back to analogue signal for the speakers.
If you're not an audiophile freak, any optic cable that fits should do. If you are, you'll probably think even Monster's a little bit on the low end.

No I am connecting my DVR to my DVD player which is also the amp for processing the audio.

Will be using it for movies not songs. So audiophile aside, which brand to recommend?
