I owns a 500D already, just that i want a smaller camera so that its easier for me for some occasions.

I had been wondering for quite some time with the specs i wanted.
-More fps for shooting.
-Able to play with different modes.
-Allow me to shoot nice picture like what an DSLR does.
-Difference scenes mode.

Any one got suggestions which camera would suits all this?

Thanks in advance.

no such camera.

1) Sony NEX
2) Sony A55 and/or A65
3) Ricoh GXR

Sony A55 and/or A65 might not be too much smaller, but I think in general... they are smaller by abit. And their frame rate is... superb.

Yup, Sony 5N.

I played with it at Sony centre today, and it can all u r requesting. :)

Budget $1000 with kit lens.

Panasonic GX10
Fujifilm X10
Sony Nex 7

Apple iPhone4s? Don't get me wrong, it has pretty good IQ and highly portable as well.

TS get NEX-5N noise control is exellent =)

m4/3 cameras pretty well positioned at this point of time with a nice selection of good performing, small and AF native lenses.

-More fps for shooting.
>> How more more you want? Is it really that important to be 5fps and above? Most ppl do very well with 3fps or 1 shot at a time.

-Able to play with different modes.
>> Most plug-ins for PP programs already have those. You get to keep you normal looking originals too.
So don't see the point to spend $$ on a camera just to have this.

-Allow me to shoot nice picture like what an DSLR does.
>> NEX, NX, m4/3 all pretty capable.

-Difference scenes mode.
>> All cameras have that nowadays. Shoot RAW and you get the option to do that in PP.
