True story, friend of mine just jumped from Minolta to *****. Serious post, he's looking to sell his Dynax 9, Sigma 28-70/2.8, 70-210/2.8 lenses. Amateur guy, takes good care of his stuff. Interested drop me a pm or email, I'll link you to him. Although, bear in mind he's in the UK, or Germany now more precisely, but no harm dropping an email... doesn't hurt.

About the few gripes I have with Minolta systems:

1. Not many people have them - hard to borrow lenses and stuff.
2. Non-standard hotshoe.

The 7 and 9 are otherwise pretty capable. Wireless flash built-in is really something. No SU-4 or ST-E2 needed. :)

CK

i still support 707 ok....even i change from silver to dark

IMO, 707 is the best prosumer DC out there....

i missed the F2.0 Carl Zeiss lens and macro at 2cm...

now using Klause's 38-76mm, f4.5-5.6...very happy with the focusing speed already even it is an unwanted lens as Klause put it....

i better dun try those L lenes.....cannot afford to be tempted by those...

Not at all. Wish I were. Probably come in slightly more useful at the present moment than what I know about photography... why? That probably wasn't copyright infringement if you're worried...
