Which brand of SD card worth buying for a D80?

The better brands include Kingston and Sandisk.

Any higher capacity ( 4GB and above ) more than that you will need to conside the SDHC version which the D80 supports ( and mindful of their speed )

Kingston not bad.. . suggest you get the high speed - 120X.

Actually i'm thinking of sandisk Ultra II... wat's the speed like?? Also saw a transcend SD at hardwarezone.com... cos i'm not sure on that... is there a big price difference on the Ultra II and Extreme III???

Sandisk is good. I only use Sandisk, and they have never given me any problem. The Ultra II should be good enough for your D80. But using Exteme III helps to hasten the transfer speed from the card reader to your computer.

i shipped myself an SDHC Transcend 8GB early this year when it was launched
and i encountered one file error ( the jpg could not be read, but the raw was ok )
since then i didn really use it much.
( i subsequently got a Sandisk to shoot, with an OTG to leech pics if it is full )
