anyways i couldn't find any option for what i wanted to put
so i'm the joker who "doesn't use instant messaging" :angel:

maximised full screen, but most of the time i use boss-mode so everything including message windows are docked to the tray

I put MSN Messenger and Skype on the left and iChat/AIM) and Yahoo! Messenger on the right. Conversation windows go wherever there is room. I need a second monitor when I'm talking.
