Where to shoot the firework for NDP 2003?

Hello clubsnappers,

I've never taken the picture of the fireworks for NDP yet. This year, hopefully will be my first time.
However, being a foreigner here, I would like to know:

- where they will do the fireworks display
- where is the best location to set up the tripod and shoot the fireworks

Hi,

I was at the preview and was quite disappointed with my shots. Most were underexposed and some didn't even come out at all.

Can anyone advice on the apperture and shutter settings?
Or should I use P or Manual mode?

manual mode will be better.
Aperture of F8 and above is recommended with a shutterspeed of 2s to 6s
