Where to sell books & encyclopedia?

Does anyone know where I can sell 2nd hand books in good condition?
Both fiction and non-fiction.
It seems most of the 2nd hand bookstores do not take in books any more, or they are very selective.
Also, any idea where I can sell encyclopedia sets?

Does the library take in donations of books?
What do you do with the books that you do not want to keep any more??

National Library only take in paperback novels.

you can donate it to Salvation Army.

Where can I sell encyclopedia set for good price?

Encyclopedia Britannica 26 volumes - just wonder who would need or want it. Not for school kids who would find it too heavy and cumbersome - they prefer to do an on line search on an ipad. Working adults? Well, they simply dun have the time for it at all. What about grandpa? The prints are simply too small for him and it is too tiring to use reading glasses. So, EB is best left for the silver fish to feed on.

In 20yrs time, that set might become a collector's item, fetching 100times what it cost you to buy 30years or so ago.:bsmilie:
