Where to see stars?

A friend has been bugging me recently. He wants to know a nice beach where he can park nearby and see stars while lying on the sand.

I suggested Tanjong Beach at Sentosa to him. Also good is Changi Beach near Changi Sea Sports Club.

Any other good spots?

usually the sky will be pretty cleared.

Wonder if anyone here own a telescope that can mount onto digital/slr ? I am finding a convertor.. hmm.. if got can take pic. Hhee.. anyone have? maybe can go out wif him/her ;p
