where to repair ipod?

i have a ipod 30gb classic that went dead.warranty confirmed over.

do i send it back to them for repairs or you guys know of any repair shops?

u can send in to any mac authorise service man, but always the quote for repair is so high its better to buy new ipod

i have yet to let him repair my earphone jack for 70 bucks...he takes some time to reply emails so have to be patient.
would be better if you know what's the real cause of your dead ipod.

Send to Apple for repair.

I would pay for it even when warranty is over as it has sentimental value.

not all ipod same.
nano, itouch, classic, shuffle blah...
it depends on what i want to listen to, or what i'm doing.

for eg, if i go jogging(damn rare!) i'll bring shuffle.

btw, 5 doesnt include those in my cars.
so i think i got more than 5 lor.

but the ipod classic followed me the longest...

My brother is one. I lost count on the number of iPods, MacBook and Pro he had. Now he wanted to buy the iMac 27 incher.

I think the only Apple thing he doesn't own is Apple TV. LOL

For me, I am faithful to my only iPhone. :lovegrin:

this shld confirmed the battery life has ended. As I ever replaced once for abt $39. Bought the bty w/tools and replaced it!
