Hey bros any recommandation where should i go to for best printing of photos results.
I know there's a difference when using adobe RGB and SRGB for printings and stuffs. I mean ya hope i didn't confuse anyone of you.
Cause the printing shops i went to prints out very over saturated photos.
I apologize if i'm asking a noob question and/or i've post the thread in the wrong sub topic. =D

isn't printing suppose to be in CMYK format?

yeah where to go arh?

im looking for a kowledgable printer that has a decent selection of papers and good equipment

You can go to Bras Basah Complex where you can find plenty of printing shops there.

what sized prints are we talking about? for the regular sized prints, there have been many recommendations in the forum... personally, I use KT because I've had reasonable results from them in the past, and because they are close to my home... I provide sRGB files and the print comes out ok compared to my profiled monitor... YMMV
isn't printing suppose to be in CMYK format?
no, most digital printing for photos and posters are using machines which should be fed RGB files... CMYK is mainly for printing presses and some specialised format machines...

do note that although the ink for the print machines may be in the colours cyan, magenta, yellow, and black, with possibly other colours of ink added in, but that does not mean that the file that should be fed to the machine should be in CMYK format... inkjet printers in general, from desktop to large format, tend to print from RGB files, and if you feed them CMYK files, the inkjet printer might actually have to change the file to RGB and then print the image...

you can try googling for grace digital lab . they are pretty cheap .

There used to be a popular shop, Miao Lan, that post & u can download a printer profile.
Say you're frm CS can get a discount some more.:)

Anyone knows if they still in biz & do they still do that calibration?Thks.

If you are really serious about getting excellent prints, go to AVS technology. They print for exhibitions and all i can say is that they produce excellent prints. google them.

Hi, sent some of you PMs already. I do custom fine art printing for photographers. PM me if you are interested.
