Hi interested in getting disposable + waterproof cameras.

are they available in singapore? Does the waterproof casing come seperately with the disposable camera?

Are photos taken through waterproof casings/cameras good?

Hi,

I just bought one Fuji Disposable camera at MS Color a few weeks ago for S$19 as I'm going to Pulau Perhentian next month.

It's waterproof to about 5m camera which comes loaded with 27 exposures Fuji Superia XTRA 800 film.

From the comments of the people in this forum, they say Fuji Superia XTRA is better than the Kodak MAX in terms of grain.

P.S.
The Kodak underwater camera did not state whether it's using MAX 400 or 800. I suspect it might be using Kodak MAX 400 instead of 800.

Remember to shoot in bright sunlight & clear water conditions.
Keep within a distance of 1-3m for best results.

Seems that never come across any disposable underwater cameras that comes with built-in flash.

Happy snorkeling!!!
;)

I thought the recommendation is 3-6m?? I think I shot at about 1.5 and it turned out off-focus...

Hi Willy,

I just checked the instructions on the Fuji Marine Quicksnap box.
For underwater, the focusing distance is confirmed to be 1-3 metre.

Did you use the same camera the last time you went to P. Redang?

Best Regards,
Tony
