Hi,

My old LCA's metering seem's off. Any idea where can I get it servised?

It is indeed a very old LCA with only Russian words on it...

Thanks in advance for any input.

Cheers!

You can try bringing it down to Objectifs and see if they can get it fixed for you.

Thanks lurgee.

It is now with Ruby Photo. :)

help! anyone knows where to repair the shutter of lca?
good, friendly and reasonably priced?

i think the uncle at the camera hospital at sunshine plaza quite friendly and knowledgable

hi guys, having some prob with my vivitar cam.
when i turn the film advance wheel, the film take-up spool does not rotate..
anybody knows how to solve this?
i've tried fiddling with the film rewind button underneath the advance wheel to no avail..

if not, it seems i'm doomed to get a new one.

thanks for your time guys.

another place u can try to visit is camera hospital over at sunshine plaza, along bencoolen street. steven there has been doing wonders with many cameras who have supposedly given up their ghosts... :sweatsm:

hi guys, I have a problem with my shutter. where can I get it fixed..and if anyone's got any experience with this, how much would it cost?

thanks in advance!

hi

u can try Camera Hospital at

Camera Hospital
No. 91, Bencoolen Street
#01-67 Sunshine Plaza
Singapore 189652
Tel: 9237 3212
HP: 9237 3212 (Steven Lee)
Email: camex@camerahospital.com

Mon-Fri 11am - 7.30pm
Sat-Sun 12pm - 6pm

it might cost from 50 up to 100 depending on the problem

this is why i quit the unreliable lomo.. and recommend XA or rollei 35s.. my shutter died.. i fixed for 100.. if its a mechanical thing.. the guy might be able to modify and you can still use it.. if the electronics have fried.. then you can kiss your lomo goodbye.. they usually say they will take it in and see how.. no guarantee that can bring it back to life.. this is what is called the lomo "shutter of death"

i got mine fixed at 150. it's an electronic problem. it's at camera hospital. includes cla too. for me it's worth it. :D

sigh. I'll try camera hospital then...thanks so much guys!

just got back from the camera hospital. he took it in...but it's gonna cost me 160 bucks.
aaah.

ask for discount lor... :p

he might give u a discount

but take it in account that..

160.. steven will fix ur lca until tip top condition
+ cla for u..
and also make sure ur lens is clean clean wor...

u buy a new one also doesn't mean it will work properly
cuz there's no new lca.. except for lca+ which is 400+++
all those lca are ex-stock or used....

hi guys...i am not sure where to enquire about this and which section to go to. I wondering if you all know of places to CLA yr old camera?

like a list of places to go to? I only know bout the one at Burlington Square.

thks!
