Hi ,

I am looking to buy close up filters and ND filters. Called a few cameras shop to enquire about Hoya closeup filters but all of them dont sell it. Can anyone advise where can I get them locally? And what is the price range for it?

TIA.

Please also read the sticky threads about filters, and the filters thread in the Priceguides section. That's the whole reason why we have a Priceguides section.

Haida filters are cheap on Taobao if you're interested :)

Be careful of getting stuff on the Taobao... It might be fake.

And there are heaps of them.

I would still advise to get things from a recommended shops in Singapore, that way... it is safer.

For filter, getting a fake one might actually leads to a bad image quality.

It's from the official Haida distributor in China, and the Haida website also links to that Taobao shop :)
Although the risk is still there...

Buy from Photosphere, got problem, the nice guys from Photosphere will help you handle.

Not sure what the process on Taobao is. If you've bought from Photosphere before you'd really highly recommend them to everyone else. Not everything is about savings and absolute dollars and cents. If that were the case then every newcomer to photography would be using a Pentax K30 - which isn't the case.
