Bought it from the distro at Penisula Shopping Center.

WOW S$468:eek: over my buget liao thanks anyway.

Ya lor, their Aluminium ones are good too.

besides price, do factor in the weight of the tripod as well.

if u get a tripod that is heavier then 1.5KG, i am sure it will collect dust in your home. :)

For me I wanted light & also very short folded length thus paid more. :(

I was poisoned into buying a Gitzo Traveller + Markin Q-Balls last year.
So far used them outdoor less than 5 times.:D

Wah! Gitzo  I cannot afford...
Since already paid for it, try to use often. ;)

After I saw Charlie's bazooka during last Pentax Outing, I was glad to settle on the Gitzo.:bsmilie:
Anyway, there are other carbon tripods that cost less.

But I can't find one that is short folded length <40cm & weighs abt 1kg...
I saw the Vanguard Ultra Maxi L (aluminium) fits the bill but can only take load up to 2kg. But still I find it quite impressive as it's not using carbon fibre.

The Benro A350EX weighs in at around 1 kg, folded to 43cm and has a load of 4kg. Good travel tripod at a reasonable price. Easily go inside a backpack. Always with me on travel.

I stow it away after much frustration with the white tiger :bsmilie:

It's now strictly for landscaping.

I saw the specs says 40cm but not sure if it includes the head?

I use A350EX all the time, but feel that it's quite short for me. Anyways it's just a small trade-off for having such a small package. :)
