Hi,

I want to buy a 25 or 29 inch TV.
Prefer Samsung,LCD, Sony, Philips or Toshiba.
Do u know where sell at good price? :p

New try shops in Sim Lim / Mustafa.
Used : Yahoo Auctions.

Just my personal opinion, TV is for long term / heavy use
get a good brand (Japanese) i.e Toshiba, SHARP, Panasonic.

You can get TCL brand Tv at Toa Payoh at very cheap price. I think 399 for 29 inch with 3 year warranty

these 4 shops very famous.... very competitive price.

for electrical goods, nowadays i don buy the expensive/branded ones.

as u know, the technology changes so fast, so buy a cheap one, last u say 4-5 years, then if spoil, can buy latest model then.

10 years ago i bought a JVC 29inch TV, S$2999. that bloody thing is still in good condition, so i got no excuse to change TV now - throw away very sayang la.

so now my DVD player from Akira, <100.

If you wanting your TV to go bad I've nothing to say :bsmilie:

The upcoming digital stuffs will be contained within set-top boxes so you can still your existing "Old" CRT TV to display. Just make sure the TV you buy has "Component Input" Or Y-Pb-Pr.

Good brand don't just give you lengevity, but also better picture quality. You're lucky if those cheap stuffs can last you 4 - 5 years.
