hi guys...seriously not sure where to take pictures...mind's a blank. Friend asking me to go out to take pictures..any recommendations?

interesting places?

anywhere... if you think its not, then you ain't thinking enough...

Half the fun in photography is finding the location/subject to shoot.

You vision comes from research and observations. If you had to rely on people to tell you what to shoot / where to shoot, what good does it do for you? Interesting photos does not have to be shot in "interesting" places.

Suggest you visit others' photo site. Azure's site is one of them. You will see an ordinary object becomes so interesting and it is within the vicinity. You just have to learn to 'see' things.
Cheers.

did anyone read his title

lomo! lomo pictures..

actually anywhere's fine, so long as you haven't overlomoed it before, gets a bit boring

Preciously.
Lomo's rule (from wiki):

The following are the company's 10 Rules of Lomography:

1.Take your LOMO everywhere you go and whenever you go.
2.Use it any time - day or night.
3.Lomography is not an interference in your life, but a part of it.
4.Shoot from the hip.
5. Approach the objects of your lomographic desire as close as possible.
6. Don't think.
7. Be fast.
8.You don't have to know beforehand what you've captured on film.
9.You don't have to know afterwards, either.
10. Don't worry about the rules.
