Where can I get tripod collar at low price?

yeah have to agree its still manageable.. but i use this lens to take sunset photos yesterday and i realised that is better to mount on tripod as it gets quite tiring.. ;p

:bsmilie: i sold my 2.8 recently.. dont have the muscle to bring it overseas for my studies overseas.. gotten a much lighter and uncommonly seen 135 and a couple of smaller lens to bring over..

and the 24-70 is not light anyway :sweat:



about the tripod collar, i think it would be hard to get a 2nd hand copy at BnS.. maybe you could ask the fast gettin popular store, Orient Photo for a quote or 2..

I got mine at $147 including GST directly from Canon.

For things like tripod collars, extension tubes, batteries etc, (basically anything that has no optics), I suggest getting third party ones (from either local store or eBay). Cheap and good.
