Please refer to the dozens of identical threads that pop up every year at this time. As for "fewer people", if there are such spots, they are a highly-guarded secret and will not be shared openly.

Expect massive crowds, and photogs reserving spots as early as 2-3pm with their tripods, etc.

Also note that by looking at the many ndp fireworks threads in the reportage and sports section, you can figure out a lot of locations.

And go on a practice night, skip the actual day LOL

Let me put it into perspective for you. Myself and many others do enjoy shooting fireworks. But we did a *lot* of footwork and exploration, spending hours and hours finding out which way the wind blows, what spots have least obstructions, what spots are overlooked or not overcrowded, etc.

And you now expect people to hand you the fruits of all their hard work on a silver platter?
