you are not allow to keep snake as pet in local, so you can't find them in any pet shops.

there are few ways you can try;

you can visit some small Chinese temples, they may have some snakes kept there, ask them can you borrow their snakes for a day or two.

or you can hang out areas like Mandai reservoir, you might able to catch a snake or two.

alternative, you can use eel instead, which you can buy from Chinatown market easily.

last resort, you can buy the rubble snakes from Toy "R" us, if the models are afraid of snakes.

hope this help.

I think besides the snake, you'll need a pro snake handler to help you "pose" the snake.
It's a huge undertaking. I hope can take a peek at the result.

Where and how to get or catch a snake for studio photography?

WHat kind of snake?

How long?

What is your purpose?

You should go to snakereview.com to view the specifications before you make the decision on what snake you want to buy. Please be more specific in your request. Snakereview.com has a compare snake tool. :bsmilie:

it's dangerous to work with snakes. you don't know if they are tame enough.. one bite and that's it if you are not careful.
That would depend on the snake. Not all are venomous and once they had a good meal they prefer to rest. But the bulge might not look appealing :bsmilie:
