I am guessing the bird was trying to distract the cat to protect its offspring hidden in the tree/bush. The cat looked like it was on to something.

According to the person who own them, they got love hate relationship.

Once the bird flew away, and the owner managed to get the bird back by putting the cat near bird cage outside. Apparently the bird miss annoying the cat.:bsmilie:
