When new, what equipment bought but in the end never used?

Everyone is a beginner once and so i ask, what did you buy you thought was essential for nice photos but in the end never even use.

I've got several lens pouches. Then I bought a camera bag. I doubt I'll ever use those pouches again! lol

Ordered a Feisol tripod online and never even used at all as it was too small. Learnt a lesson to buy what I can see and feel. Sold off at almost 1/2 price.

Hahaha! My monopod. K, I've used it a couple of times (literally), but to really use it, nope. It's always been at that corner of my room. =)

used till till i sold off my 70-200, dont have any heavy lens that will need me to use it at the moment.
rotting in the room =x

same goes for lens pouches. bought those small ones, but now hardly used.

Cokin GND filters + holder. Sold the WA lens after I brought the filter and brought another WA lens that doesn't take any screw in filter. so now rotting at home.
