When is the cheapest time to get an air tix to HK?

probably CNY time... cos most shop closes.... or their winter time...

I checked some of our local budget airlines recently for a friend. The only budget airline that flies to HK is JetStar Asia.

I didn't check for HK but after all the taxes and stuff, it's not very cheap...

IMHO, the cheapest time to go would be anytime between after the school hols and before CNY.

Just my 2 baht worth.

yeah budget air is not really budget at all. have to factor in all the taxes and then hotel stay too.!
try free and easy tour.. some might be cheaper.

I did a dummy checking from 10-12 jan 2006, the Jetstar website price is actually S$98..

Anyone know how much roughly will it be after adding in all the airport charges & taxes?
