Wondering what else of war film do you guys like apart from the list. Hehe. (Ok, Im kinda bored in office)

Full Metal Jacket
The Longest Day (B&W film but I love the story alot)

The Pianist

The Pianist is a war film?

Anyway out of that list I only really liked Full Metal Jacket but only the first part. The 2nd part like got no effect liao.
 

I loved Saving Private Ryan!!Really cool,and black hawk down as well

Yes, Full Metal Jacket and Apocalypse Now are real war classics.
 

I remember the very first movie I ever watched entitled "Wild Geese", and a war movie at that..

There's also the war/soccer hybrid movie, "Escape to Victory"..

Anyone knows where to get the series, "Baa Baa Black Sheep"? :)

Yeah, it's about a pianist in the war.

Not your typical war movie, but it IS centred on the war and its effects.
 

What about The Deer Hunter (1978) starring Robert De Niro????;)

Canonised - Tora Tora Tora really very good? Hehe...

I guess of all show the only show left me the deep impression is "Full Metal Jacket" when the whore talk to the soldier. :bsmilie: "Me so Ho***, Me love you alot" (Ok, I just watched that so I still rem the dialogue)

My fav :- War & peace(1956) featuring Audrey Hepburn.

Some olden days Chinese made film also very nice!! ;)
