For me,

K20D using Vibrant with following adjustments,

saturation +2
hue -1
contrast -2
fine sharpness +1

This is my general setting and is pretty accurate most of the time.

problem is finding a setting for human skin tone. There`s been many times when i am surprised just how far the difference is changed when fixed using image editor. Didnt have this much difficulty back when using film.

if skin tone is important, i think raw would be best? my 2nd choice would be in portrait mode. colours might be more representative since the hexagon is not skewed unlike vibrant's..

I ended up sticking with Portrait (all settings neutral), since I will do fast PP when reviewing my photos anyway.
I find it odd that you have +2 saturation. Usually I find saturation is wonderful for Pentax and its the least I need to increase during PP.
Ok, Hue -1, will make it cooler, which I sometimes finds Pentax is on the warm side.
I can't seem to get enough contrast, but I find its way better to tweak during PP as there is no 1 setting fit all.
Sharpness, I've never made a comparison how good/bad in camera sharpness is. Just like to have the finer control during PP to look out for final effect and noise.

i use natural, max sharpness :)
