I was trying to do some night photography, ISO:100, F11, 30secs.

There seems to be a lot of white spots in the photos, especially when I zoomed in. can anyone advice me? I'm using a Tamron 17-50 f2.8 without filter.

HOT pixels.

Should turn on Long Exp Noise Reduction especially exp 1" or longer...

if its persistant...then you may like to get the sensor mapped at the camera's service center

Yeah. It's your sensor heating up due to long exposure, causing more noise in the signal being sent for processing.

Google is your friend. Just search "what causes hot pixels"

I have seen this is one brand. Let the cam cool off, then try a 10 sec shot (manual mode) with lens cap on at iso100 and iso400. If you see those dots in same location, then it is a problem with the camera (not sure with component).
