jsut got my 400d and am thinking of a blower and all the shizznit in a set thing. anything in particular i should look out for?

The usual. Blower, lens cloth, etc.

get the Giottos Rocket Air blower :p
some lens tissues(no brand one is fine, but Kodak one sells for $4 just $1 more than no brand one)
and some lens clothes(2-3), 1 put at home, 1 bring in ur camera bag, 1 spare :p
cleaning solution anything shd be fine.. me using Giottos.

For the lens clothes should get the micro fibre type, it is very effective in cleaning oil stain (e.g. finger prints) on the glass.

DON'T use a blower inside the camera

huh? why? cannot blow the sensor?

Because you will most likely dislodge more dust and it will end up on the sensor.

Worse still it can be blown into the viewer area. I have seen it before and is expensive to have cleaned.

There are better ways of cleaning the sensor than blowing dust around.

Just my opinion :)

ok so since we on the topic.

can list the to do and not to for cleaning the Dslr?

like not blow where. and not to use certain provided equipment. like the liquid cealner in the bottle was told not to use it on lenses and stuff. but dunno y
