What to do with error in MSI files...?

I tried to install Lightroom dl from Abode site several times...but the MSI file just won't run...pls help!!!

use another browser to download to be safe, or install a software like getright or flashget

then probably some software is interfering...

try to close all other software... click Ctrl_Alt_Del... then close any useless program.

worst is your system infected by worm & spyware.

I'm using XP wit SP 2, on a laptop.

btw, any exe files in the same directory? often you have to run the exe setup file not the msi file.

It's installer file I dl from Abode site, and it just won't excecute...everytime I tried to open, it runs in the background, and then a brief window flashed, and that was it...:dunno:

Got any problems with other msi files or just this one from Adobe ?
Maybe too obvious, but have you tried temporarily disabling your anti-virus and firewall ?
