L = Lauya
D = Damaged
ED = Extra Damaged
IS = Internally Spoilt
VR = Very Rotten
USM = UnServicable Motor
AFS = Algae Fungus Scratches
HSM = Highly Sucky Motor

D = Dim
ED = Extra Dim
L = Larger
VR = virtual reliability
USM = Ultra Sophisticated naMe
HSM = Highly Sophisticated naMe

what's G and AIS anyway huh?

Yup, AIS is Nikon. Forgot what the "S" means, but AI's real meaning = Aperture Indexing. AIS lenses are all manual focus.
