Hi,

Just interested to know what kind of settings do you use for wedding shots?

Manual, Av, Tv, P?

akane :)

erm, that's a little vague. what kinda wedding, what lighting, what time of the day, indoor/outdoor, etc etc.

me, i normally use Aperture Priority when shooting without flash, and manual when using flash (typically indoor)

I was intending to shoot a wedding this weekend, being very new at this, I'll tell you my plan, then subscribe to the thread to get some advice from others as well.
I want to make an iPhoto book for a friend of mine, I was going to set the camera (Nikon N65) in program modes (portrait and auto, mainly, I suppose) to take the majority of pics, until I learn a lot more. About the only thing I was going to do any different was to add a diffusion filter to the bride's pic, and win the rest, making a sort of story out of the procession with the book.

hmm..normal wedding...recordings of the entire day
although i hope to take abstract/behind-the-scenes
will be using 2 cameras one loaded with b&w film
and the other my digital.
thought of using Aperture priority so no need to change too many settings.
