What SD Card do you use??

IMO, no need to go for brand really..
as long as its fast good enuff..

I have a 256meg Sandisk (from my PDA) and one 256meg Ridata.

Both serve me well.

I got one extra 512 Twinmos CF in my PDA, which I can use to dup the SDs
into CF n carry on shooting.

erm if thats the case, anyone knows where in SLS sells the high speed SD card (regardless of brand) at a good price then? Think this information wuold be good to most people who wants to get the SD card.

I got the kingmax 1gig for S$199 ... definitely high speed at 60x

Lexar 10mb/s (66x) at MS $60/-.
I use sandisk Ultra II. Bought sometime ago at $115/-. Now prices of SD drop like s***. Splat!!! :dunno:

As I'm having a business trip in HK, I just bought a KingMax 512M SD (60X, 10Mb/s), the price is HK$410 (Cheapest in Golder Computer centre).
It's made in Taiwan. I have searched from other U.S. forums and the comment for KingMax is quite good. SanDisk may be too expensive, its Ultra II is also 10Mb/s, but it costs HK$540 here.

Bought a Kingston 512mb SD card today. S$90. Decided a normal speed card, coz I seldom shoot burst mode and will get the 1gb high speed when it's cheaper!

After walking the whole of SLS, these are the cheapest found!

Those interested in the 1gb 10m/s SD card, Laser Distributor at SLS 5th floor selling at $173. Brand: Kingmax. Kingston normal speed 512mb SD card $90.

Saw this Brand:Cadmus 10m/s SD card too. Selling at many shops.
Price as below:
256mb $59
512mb $109
1gb $209

Last week, my friend went down SLS and bought a Kingston 512MB SD. She shopped around before settling for a made-in-Japan one. Apparently, some are made in Taiwan, some China, and some Japan. I don't know if there is any difference in quality.....
