Have an impulse to go home and shoot all the great mountains and landscape in my
home where I was born, for documenting purpose since I am to leave it permanently.
What wide angle lens can I choose? It doesn't need to be L glass, but have to be of
affordable cost and give decent image quality.

you never state how wide.
Wider than 28mm, and doesn't have to be as fast as F/2.8.
