Hi Guys
Been reading this forum with great interest, I am from Perth, Western Australia and i wish we had something like this in Perth. We are luck if someone organises a photoshoot once every two months. Anywasy enough about my great city..

I am a newbie and have a Pentax K100D, Sigma 18-50mm 3.5-5.6, Sigma 70-300mm 3.5-5.6.
I am very interested in studio photography with soft box's, flash's etc etc. I am attending my first shoot on Tuesday at a camera club studio.

My question is what would be the best lens for my camera for studio pics?
I was thinking of a prime 50mm F1.4
Would appreciate if i could have some advise.

Also when there is studio shoots organised from a monday to friday i will fly to SG so i can shoot every day :)
Asian women are so beautiful and thats coming from a caucasian guy :)

Cheers Guys
Mark

85mm 1.4 if u have the budget. 50mm 1.4's a great choice too! :D

that would depend on 2 factors

1. the field of view that you like
2. the size of the studio

actually 3 factors
3. the depth of your bank account :)

i agree with this..if space and all is not an issue...an 85mm would be ideal for me...
