What lens do one use to shoot insects & wild flowers?

I am just wondering. Last time I shot with my EF 28-135 and EF 55-200
and didn't get good results. Either my skills or the lenses I used were the
cause. :embrass:

You can either use a dedicated 1:1 Macro lens, they come in flavours of 90mm/100mm/105mm or 150mm/180mm. Or you can use a combo of extension tubes & closeup filters like Canon's 500D on your existing lenses.

Think this thread shld be inside General Reviews or Newbies' Corner sub forums... :think:
 

Hiee...there..

I personally used a 35-70mm lens with an extension tube......its a cheaper alternative...

You can pick lots of tips from experts here in CS from ppl like Megaweb(one of the gurus here!!! :thumbsup: )....
