What len are you using for ur m4/3?

12-50 kit lens and 75/1.8.
Considering replacing the 12-50 with a 12-40/2.8 and adding a 15/1.7.

As of this evening, I have added Olympus 75mm F1.8 to accompany the following lens:

1) Panasonic 12-35 mm F2.8
2) Panasonic 35-100 mm F2.8
3) Panasonic 100-300 mm F4.0 - 5.6
4) Leica 25mm F1.4
5) Olympus 75mm F1.8

Been shooting quite a lot of landscapes these days, so mainly Oly 9-18 when I want it small, light and with my more portable filters setup. Pana 7-14 if I use my diy holder with 100mm filter. and Oly 25/75mm for kids/family portraiture. hope to find time for the rest.

May I ask does the 9-18 have similar flaring issue like the 7-14?

Much lesser, but it's also less sharp and not as wide hence less flare. hope to see the performance of Oly mZD7-14 to compare.

The 7-14/2.8 is probably the very last lens I need to complete my setup ;) been waiting for it for a long time

Just the Panny 13-35/35-100 & Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D.

U need an adapter for the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D ?

Why is there a "D" ?

Thanks

But the Olympus 7-14/F2.8 will only come in 2015 ... Did Oly said Jan 2015 or Dec 2015 ?

Thanks

All estimates :) Not in a hurry to get it, just that I'm very clear my lens setup will be the 7-14/2.8, 12-40/2.8 , 42.5/1.2 and a 17/1.8 so simply waiting for it.

I've a friend waiting to enter the system when the 300/4 Pro is out too lol. He gets excited thinking about a 600mm f4 lens on the 5 axis ibis.

Yeap, an F mount to MFT mount adapter like this one (no electronic contacts). 'D' because it's the older version with aperture ring, different from the newer Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G (which has no aperture ring).

Nikon-specific info (only relevant if you're using a Nikon body):

D-type (1992) adds distance information to the data supplied by the lens to the camera, AF-I, AF-S add in-lens focusing motors, and G-type removes the aperture ring (but is otherwise identical to D-type). The main thing to watch out for with autofocus lenses are non-D versus D or G.

For me used commonly will be 12-35 & 25 1.4. Usually sit in dry cabinet is 35-100, 17 & 45 1.8.

Seems like no one is using 4/3 lens btw...

I am using the 4/3 25mm f1.4. My lenses are 12mm, 25mm 4/3, and 75mm f1.8. They cover everything I need at the expense of switching lenses

Legacy : (MMF Adapter)
14-54mm MkI (My go to portrait lens that is flattering to most human beings)
12-60mm SWD (My usual every day lens)
50-200mm SWD (My fav long zoom)
50mm Macro (still a stunning lens)

m4/3 :
7-14mm Pana
9-18mm Oly
12-42mm (Oly kit)
12-35mm Pana
12-40mm Oly
35-100mm Pana
100-300mm Pana

as one will realise, I don't shoot primes except for the 50mm Macro, but mainly because I can attach the Oly branded Macro Ring Light on it.
