What kind of metering do you use for portrait shots?

Evaluative, Centre-weighted or Spot? For both outdoor and indoor. Because sometimes if the model wears a very "bright" clothes I prefer to use spot metering.

I'd use an incident light meter.

exposure correct and is what u want can liaoz right?
