What kind of marker pens is safe for CD-ROM?

I read that some marker pens may not be suitable to be used to write on CD-ROM as their inks may "eat" into the CDs and render the info useless. Any suggestions on what kind of marker pens are safe for CD-ROMs? Thanks.

i using staedtler lumocolor permanent pen now.

i also tried the japan brand, marksomething... 1side thick 1side thin, also can.
 

Been usin permanent Pilot OHP Markers till today n hasn't had any problems... :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Jia lat, i all along anyhow use. As long can write can liao....:sweat:
