All comments and critique is welcome... with one in particular: Does the tilt/distortion bother you? I'm getting a mixed bag of feelings about this. What do you think?

perhaps ur subject ( the buildings and the goal post) are underexposed, probably next time u shoot, u can meter the subject instead of the sky, just my humble opinions

Does it really appear that dark? Hmm.. it looks ok on my calibrated screen though. Closest balance I could find before blowing out the details in the clouds

Someone took a similar photo at the same location some time ago. The tilt doesn't bother me that much, afterall this is not an architectural shot. Although the dark tones doesn't bother me too much either but I would certainly prefer a difference in toning rather than a uniform dark tone across. Wait for better light to cast on the buildings in the background can certainly help you to portrait your ideas better.
