What is your favourite aperture to take photographs at?

I just listed the main f stops so you could choose the closest..
My favourite would be approx. f1.8 or f2.0 so I am voting f2.0

Edit
cannot vote as different images need different fstops
how to have fav?
This is impossible.

Everything depends on the speed of the lens, depends on exposure requirement, depends on what the photographer needs/wants to produce, depends on the lens itself ...

So tell me how to vote?

I did not say the ONLY f stop you take your photos at, I was just asking your favoured f stop . that is all. thanks :)

F1.5... cos thats as wide as my nokton goes :)

I voted f/5.6 because that's the camera's favourite if you switch to P mode. hahaha.. Most of the time I shoot with A mode and I choose the aperture to suit the situation. I don't think there can be a favourite f-stop because the same f-stop on different focal lengths will give very different depth of field.

does this apply to prime lens like 50/1.4? :dunno:

depends on what my light meter say...

anyway, if i have a f1.4, i sure use f1.4 if possible, else buy f1.4 for wat? so the widest if possible.

If light meter say 1/8000 f/1.4, will you still use f/1.4?
