rgds,

1. Kodak mc3 (freebie from HSBC) - sold promptly!
2. BenQ DC1500 (freebie from SCV).
3. Ricoh R2 (surprisingly good little cam!).
4. Nikon D70s (complicated cam - still entrenched in the learning mode and loving it!).

5. ? Don't think there'll be a #5. The D70s is obviously a very competent camera, and the current limitations are related to the user, I think! The upgrades from this point will probably be limited to lenses and other accessories (most likely a flash)... but one never knows!!!

1. Fuji dunno-wat (My dad bought when I was quite young. I can't even remember the model number now.. only know that it takes VGA res pics.)
2. Sony DSC-P9
3. Sony DSC-P100
4. Canon Powershot S80
5. Canon EOS350D

1) Prolink DC1316 - 1.3megapixel camera. costing ~$199 or was it $299. Bought NCP 64mb CF for ~ $60? now can get ~ 512mb liao!? Bought it in 2000. Sold it ~1y after.

2) G2. 4megapixel. in dec' 2002, G3 just came out, G2 was still ~$1k, was very expensive decision for a student then. Went Belfast for a semester in 2003, went Europ during the semester, totally depended and loved my G2 to death.

3) 17/2/04 bought 2nd hand 300D, first big plunge into DSLR where the bottom of my pockets knew no bounds!

4) Bought Ixus400 and A80 in 2004.as well.

5) retired G2 in oct'05. really sad to let it go, but really under-utilised.

6) Bought 2nd DSLR body 350D in dec'05. Now loving it!

coming to think of it, am really thankful to be living in the age of digital technology. Without it, I might never venture seriously into photography. And though it might be cheaper if digital technology is very mature ie: pro FF bodies for $3k?, it is/was good to start learning as digital technology progresses; to learn every camera's strengths and weaknessess, hence upping one's learning curve.

March 2003 Olympus C350Z
Sept 2003 (gave my GF C350Z) Upgraded to C5050
April 2005 (Sold my C5050) Bought a D70

Somewhere in between... bought a Canon S50 (gave to family)
and Canon A95... sold off on Ebay...

that's about it... not very exciting...:bsmilie:

1. Olympus C-770UZ (2004 end)
2. Panasonic FZ20K (2005 May)
3. Olympus mju D800 (2005 Dec)

Haha! Shows how noob I am eh?

never used any film/digital cam or bought any, jumped straight to DSLR... D50

1. Creative webcam go (does this count?)
2. Wearns Slimpal - Built-in memory, small and simple
3. Fujifilm Finepix A202 - Very easy to use, no sound for video
4. Canon Ixus I - Great pictures, pity no optical zoom
5. Panasonic FZ5 - Versatile little cam
6. Nikon D50 - Still new to it

1. Nikon consumer film P & S without zoom long time ago, not sure what model, then lost.

2. Canon G1, very good at that time.

3. Panasonic FZ5

4. KM 5D DSLR
