what kind of bird? normally u can find some in the morning & evening.

Go to google search engine, and find the tidetable. It's better to go to the wetlands during low-tide, as there will be more exposed mud-flat, and quite a number of avian species like to feed off the mud-flat.

Normally the tidetable would show the lowest and highest tide of the day. It's usually safe to say that the mud-flat would be exposed 2 hours before and after the lowest tide.

note: be careful of soft muddy bank... its easy to slip or fall in.
