What is a good sg photography magazine?

you are much better off looking at books about photography in like a national library or something instead of picking up magazines which only really please gear heads out there..

the rest tend to be web-based pdfs at best.

SPH Magazines just published a "HWM Megaguide: Digital Photography (Revised Edition)" which you can purchase from most book stores for S$18.00. It's a one-off magazine only, not a monthly/bimonthly issue.

That's a decent magazine, although some of the explanations are too detailed and confuses more then it educates.

There are not many sg photography mags, in fact, i've not seen any.

Can try the Malaysian edition of Digital Camera World. It's nicely priced and a localized version of the UK edition. Or just go with the UK/USA mags. Digital Camera World, Practical Photography, Professional Photography - the standard of photography is generally higher.

Or just look at photos in flickr or the photo galleries here since what most of us need is inspiration. Some sg photographers have very high standards - ejunlow for one. merelyok if you like his medium format works, and many others. It's a personal choice, so go explore.

Photovideoi has disappeared for more than a year already. SPH has incorporated it into HWZ magazine. My last 10 months Photovideoi subscription was changed to HWZ mag "automatically". There is not much photography content in HWZ mag so I stopped the subscription.

if product/photos, i think DCM aka Digital Camera Malaysia is pretty decent for it's price.
it's rm9/sgd6.50 i think.
i normally get mine in Malaysia.
usually released on the 9th...
