Thinking of buying a Flash light for D70s can anyone give some advice on this 2 flash light Sigma DG500 or the Nikon SB600.

500dg offer much better performance/feature vs price ratio, but i think flash output consistency ain't as good as the speedlight

Pls advice, you mean the response of the flash after each shoot is slow.

no. not response, but flash output power tend to over/underexpose subject more due to in-ccuracy

get the SB600...its GOOD.....
if have higher budget... get the SB800.... better still....

If you tend to upgrade your camera, get SB600. Some reported few months ago Sigma flash doesn't work well will D200.

SB800

Arto.

SB-800... BBB!!!!

SB-600 or SB-800... can't go wrong...

if you're doing travelling or just need very basic flash work, try the SB-400
