Hi, I want to get a new scanner with film scanning capabality to scan 35 & Medium format neg and slides. Can anyone recomend. Is Microtek a good scanner compare to Epson or Canon?

Appreciate any comments...

Anyone can help??

pls recomend....

i'm pretty satisfied with my epson perfection 3170 poto. it does negatives, medium format and slides.

Thanks Patch17. How much it cost?

Nickmak, 4870 is very expensive lah..

I saw Microtek 6100 at below $300. Is it good.
Tomorrow got IT Show at Suntec, might be going and see if there;s a promotion.

Try not to scrimp on a good scanner. If you are really looking for a good scanner to digitally archive your negatives/slides, then get the best one that your budget would allow.

I would recommend that you go for the Epson Perfection Photo series as they have consistently produced good quality scanners.

The best is still to do some research on the Web before making your decision.

OT: There is an IT show going on at Suntec meh?

Sorry, it's in March. See wrongly. 10-13 March 2005.

So What do you think of Microtek scanner. They had 21 years of digital Imaging Excellence.
