Anyone care to enlighten about this term?
Macro Reproduction: 1:5.
Does it mean the lens can take image 5 times bigger than its size or 5 times smaller?
Thanks in advance.

1:5 is 1/5 the actual size.
1:1 is life size reproduction
5:1 is 5x the actual size

1:1 means the object can "occupy" its exact size on the sensor, eg. a 2cm length object can project itself at a maximum of 2cm length on sensor. So IF your sensor is 4cm width, with 4MP length size, you can get the object at 2MP length.
