Other than camera and lenses I like to include:

1. A card with my name, telephone number and address on it so that if stolen or misplaced the thieft or kind person would know where to contact me.

2. A bottle of chilled Mount Franklin spring water in the external compartment.

3. A torch for looking at the dials and controls when doing night photography.

4. Cheese, avacado, beetroot, tuna, salami, bread, mayonnnaise, leg ham, chicken breast etc. for quick sandwiches. A hungry photographer is an uninspired photographer.

How about a dry cabinet plugged into a power pack?
Like that all your gear will be protected from moisture until ready to use.

wow... great... now i know why the bags are always that BIG...
all the ingredients for pinic packed in... haha

First of all, I am not a Pro. :)
I am only carrying a Leica M6 with a 50mm and a 90mm lens, a SF20 flash.
And a small poing and shoot camera, Contax T3 with SA-2 inside my Billingham Hardly Small bag.
And some films and a soft cloth.
Thats all for my gear. I will always try to carry as light as possible as I don't want to carry a big and heavy camera bag around the streets to snap pictures! ;)

I don't call myself a Pro becoz I don't make money with photography, I only lose money in it! :D
Yes all those big cameras and big lenses are very heavy and would spoilt my mood when carried for long periods of time.
