Just curious what do you all put in your camera when you go out for a shoots. I sort of pack every thing. Kind of heavy when I go out.

i will choose what lens i would be using..

as for other other equipment:
1. flash (if necc)
2. batteries (for 1.)
3. memory cards (more cards for longer shoots)
4. monopod/tripod/ladder (depending on situation)

lastly..
bringing alot of things? use a smaller bag to reduce the amount of things that you can bring? or use a backpack to distribute the weight around?

Hmm, this a tough one.
1) My camera of course.
2) Tamron 18-50mm f/2.8 attached to body
3) Either 55-200mm or 70-300mm as a telephoto zoom :dunno:
4) Always my Nikkor P.C. 105mm f/2.5
5) Could bring a 35mm prime if needed :dunno:
6) Flash if I am shooting indoors
7) NeWater bottle:D
8) Extra batteries
7) Memory card

I am always having indecision on what lenses to take out of the dry-cab.

Depends on what kind of shooting trip I'm on..

DSLR
Lenses
Flash(es)
Cleaning kit (blower, cloth, solution, etc)
spare battery (for camera as well as flash)
spare CF card(s)
Monopod or tripod if I require extra support
SC-28 if macro shooting

For me, I love light and compact so i can enjoy the shooting itself

DSLR
50mm lens
1 extra batt and CF card

Or either a PnS only (with extra batt / CF card)

dSLR with 24-70 attached
30mm lens
extra camera battery
flash
extra flash batteries
extra storage space (digimate)
microfibre cloth

all the good stuff I need.

i only pack what i need
let's say if i am going for a macro shoot, then i bring my macro stuff
plus a WA, just in case there is a stunning sunset.

1.My cam + VR 18-200mm
2.Lens cleaner box
3.Macro lens SP90
4.Blower
5.PD 70X
6.4 batts
7.SB 800 + 8 new batts, 8 Rechargerable GP batts,
8.CF 2GB X 4
9.Prime lens.
:dunno:

I like to travel light and what I carry will depend on what I plan to shoot. But I will definately carry spare battries, spare CF cards and a lens pen.

I kinda like your feet stabilizer in your bag.

Mine will have some food plus candy for the xmm

ah~ the feet stabliz isn't anything to be proud of it's kinda hard to pack in.
wait till you see the food wrapper at the back.

anyway, I usually pack in 5-6 rolls of extra film if I don't bring the stabliz out to play.

Camera equipment plus water bottle.

Depends on what I shoot, the "mission load" varies.

Normal shoot: 1 body, 2 or 3 lenses (WA/standard/tele), 1 flash, + 1 spare set of batts.
Paid shoot: 2 bodies + 2 flashguns + 2 spare sets of batts per piece of equipment.
Bad weather: + Raincoat for camera.

Other essentials: Basic cleaning kit (lenspen+blower). Facial wipes/wet tissues/regular tissues. Drinking water. Small clipboard + writing instruments. Small torch.

Nowadays, i bring as heany as i can carry, It helps me to get rid of the spare tires round my waist. ard 10-15Kg. Hee...

I put:
- dSLR with lens.
- Flash.
- Wireless remote.
- DIY diffuser.
- Microfiber cloth.
- CPL.

On hand is tripod, on head is hat.

Regards,
Arto.
