I have covered about 10 wedding events so far as the main photographer. But only one time is pay-for-service kind while the rest are simply and purely to help my friends out. I bring the following:

1 x D2X with wide angle lens
1 x D70 with micro lens for close-up shot and double up as prime lens for blurred background effect (this is also my backup camera, just in case)
Each of the above body has two batteries (one in use, one as spare)
1 x SB800 with 3 sets of spare batteries
Memory cards or laptop

NEFs and NEFs only. JPEG is out. Definitely 100% totally, completely, OUT.
