It's actually ok 'coz this is a Canon sub-forum. ;)

Are you asking this because you're thinking of using your 300D for weddings?

The 300D is more than sufficient for a wedding shoot.
Of coz if U wanna get better cams is up to u la..
But the 300D is enough.

Of coz U need flash.

i don't understand. does the camera body matter?

Frankly I fail to see what a 10D can do for a wedding and the 300D can't. Don't start comparing the both of them side-by-side or their technical limitations.

I think you'll need to get over your inferior complex of thinking that you need a cooler and more professional camera to impress. If you think you can do it, first try to learn from those who are already in this line of trade by offering to shoot as a backup photographer. Ask nicely, be sincere and you'll be on your way. Good luck to you. ;)

People worry about the strangest things.

Exactly. The lasting wedding I went to, the photog was using an old beat-up manual Nikon. No AF, and probably simple center-weight metering, if at all. The couple and guests are not exactly jumping hurdles or doing the 100m sprint. So any camera will do as long as its working reliably.
